Shirley J Recipes: Clam Dip

Preparing something authentic this Christmas? Don’t forget the Clam Dip, another original from Shirley J’s Kitchen!

Ingredients:

½ c Shirley J Universal Sauce
2 c water
½ c yellow onion (diced)
½ t Shirley J Chicken Bouillon
½ t granulated garlic
¼ t cayenne
1 T Worcestershire sauce
8 oz. cream cheese
½ c Mozzarella (grated)
¼ c parsley (chopped)
1 ea 6 oz can of clams (rinsed and drained)
1 T oil

Directions:

Sauté the onions in oil, when they have started to brown add the water and the Shirley J Universal Sauce stir until it starts to boil. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir. Serve warm.
Yields: 4 cups
