Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 pound sirloin or other steak cut into thin 1” strips
16 ounces frozen, thawed (or fresh) broccoli florets
4 Tablespoons Shirley J All Purpose Seasoning mix
1-1/4 cup water
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
6 Tablespoons corn starch
Directions:
In plastic bag combine steak strips and corn starch. Close bag and shake, lightly coating all surfaces of beef strips. Remove only beef from bag discarding excess cornstarch. Heat olive oil in non stick skillet, add coated beef and stir fry over medium high heat until browned. Remove steak and set aside. Add broccoli to skillet along with seasoning mix blended with brown sugar, soy sauce, and water. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally 2-5 minutes. Serve over rice.
